Account & Data Deletion Request
At GymBooster, you retain full ownership and control over your personal data. If you wish to permanently delete your user account and erase all associated data from our servers, you may do so through two straightforward methods:
Method 1: Instant In-App Deletion (Recommended)
If you have the GymBooster application installed on your Android device:
- Open the GymBooster app;
- Tap on the Profile tab in the bottom navigation;
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap the red "Delete account" button;
- Confirm the security prompt.
In-app deletion triggers an immediate cascade delete across Firebase Auth, Firestore, Firebase Storage, and revokes Google Sign-In and RevenueCat sessions.
Method 2: External Web / Email Request (Without App Installed)
If you have uninstalled the app or prefer to request deletion externally, you can submit a request directly to our support team:
Submit Request via Email
Send an email from your registered account email address to:
Subject: GymBooster Account Deletion Request
Body: Include your registered email address (Google Sign-In or email account) and confirmation of your total deletion request.
What data is permanently deleted?
- Profile & Credentials: Email address, display name, profile avatar, and Firebase UID.
- Workout Logs & Routines: All custom workout splits, exercise logs, sets, reps, weight lifted, rest times, and personal notes.
- Progress Photos: All body transformation photos stored in your private Firebase Storage directory.
- Body Metrics: All weight logs and goal milestones.
What data is retained?
No personal workout data is retained after deletion. Anonymized transaction receipts for in-app purchases may be maintained by Google Play for accounting and statutory compliance.
Processing Timeline
In-app deletions are executed immediately. Email requests are verified and permanently completed within 7 business days, accompanied by an email confirmation.
